I find the updates a GREAT HELP in two areas

1.knowing that the trade is live (when I hesitate getting in a trade I wonder for days that maybe I should have been in the trade and then when the update comes--that takes all the doubt away.

2.The update helps in knowing when to get out of a trade when the trade is making or looseing money

To day after your update I sold 15 HLF@1.85 and made approx $800 and before your update sold 15 EBAY@ $2.06 and made approx. $500 Still holding 4 BNI @$5.20 and first time ever I am trying a Short trade holding 200 AMED@$36.90

Lest you think I am not grateful, I would like to extend my appreciation for your services; I am glad I found it.

Waxie's calls have been superb, especially those in which I took some positions ... BIDU, TSO, AKS, MSFT, SU, ANF (and a few others) have yielded me some decent returns of late. On the other hand, I missed significant profit potentials on HLF and MGM, both of which popped just 5 minutes (HLF), or a day (MGM) after I closed them out. In both cases I was not sure if I should wait for your call to close them out. I take full responsibilities for my positions; and I hope to develop better judgment of when to wait for your Exit calls. Any tips on this here would help. I am also eagerly waiting for the Window Dressing Lists; if the JE list is any indication, that should be a doozie as well.

At this point, I am Even on the JE list; although I get the sense that bumper days are ahead.

Tiny's call on GOOG yesterday was nothing short of a masterstroke. Just to appease my cynicism, two more calls of such precision Tiny, and I will annoint you the Tiger Woods of Technical Analysis. I also appreciate your words of wisdom and sense of calm, in your tech take videos as well in the chat room.

Scott's orientation session last week was perhaps the best I have attended (anywhere) in a long time. Not only was I able to sit through the entire content-rich 4+ hour session, but I was actually able to follow the lecture; it was structured, lucid and most importantly, conducted with a lot of patience. I am looking forward to attending more sessions in the weeks and months ahead. I hear good things about the MB service; I will join when I am better organized. I will write to you soon to set up the montly coaching sessions.

The quality of the chat room, especially these last two weeks have been very good. I am beginning to like Gap Fades and Swing Trades. An occasional Day Trade is fine by me, especially when the momentum is very clear.

I appreciate Sally's prompt responses and support. I am sure you do a lot more in the background than what I am aware of.

I am hoping tomorrow will be a good trading day (obviously would like it to favor my positions).

Sweet, I bought a Jan $100 call option contract last week for $2230, sold it in less than a week for $4200. Started with $8000 in Aug. have about $14000 now, that's pretty much just trading your option picks, minus some of my mistakes.

Bought 10 contracts for .75 at 1:50pm. Sold 6 contracts for 1.50 at 3:20 pm.

100% profit on the contracts sold within 90 minutes!

Holding on to 4 more contracts and hoping for 200%+ return on those.

Great call on TSO today. I bought the calls at 1:51 PM and sold half off at a double at 3:25 PM...so basically 95 minutes to double!

That's pretty damn impressive - thank you! Is that a record?

I guess while I'm at it, I should also be thanking you for the smokin' hot JE list, and oh, let's see.... maybe for helping me increase my portfolio by over 500% since August?! I can only shake my head in wonder as I've watched my account go from 5 figures well into the 6 figure range, and it doesn't look like we're going to be slowing down anytime soon.

thanks for making things crystal ball clear, and thanks for the numerous blog postings.

Some of us (myself included) are more swing traders, than day traders. And the intermediate term momentum shifts are what I look for the most.

Since i signed up as a black belt w/ trendfund, you said:

1) WAIT to short till the Russell hits 750 (top 10 Tech shorts class) -that entry was absolutly perfect I shorted GOOG from 510 to 260 w/ the Dec puts you called off that.

2) WAIT to short till the SP hits 1000 (on the Obama election run up) - that entry was perfect (i cant even recall the huge list of shorts i killed off that one)

now, 3) WAIT to reload till obama gets sworn in to reload short.

Some of us (well ill speak for myself) might be a lil hard headed, when we have been raking in the CASH here big time just shorting the crap outta GOOG over and over again. So I appreciate the emphasised effect, i do.

I don't know if you will remember me, but I met you at the Las Vegas seminar in 2006. I was the guy from Alaska. I work full time, so I trade intermittently, whenever I have a lull in the work cycle.

Anyway, I forgot to tell you in my other email (where I thanked you for the GS puts!), that I am so thankful that you were poo-pooing the market late last year.

I am a career U.S. Government employee. I'd rather not go into any more than that right now (how's that for spooky) LOL. Anyway, our 401k is called the Thrift Savings Plan, and it's got a very few places you can put your money. Basically a couple of index funds and some gov't securities funds. I had it in the S&P fund until late last year. At that time, you were really emphasizing that we were way overbought. The market was just off its all time highs, so I pulled out of the index funds, and put it all into the T-bill fund. As the correction continued, you were adamant that we were not near a bottom, so I kept it out, and it will stay out for the foreseeable future. That single move, based on your advice, has saved my retirement.

And I don't say that lightly. It's been my plan to retire in 7 years, and trade full time to supplement my pension. Without you and your incredible foresight of the market, I would probably have listened to the Jim Cramers of the world and ridden my 401k into the ground. I mentioned to a coworker last November that he might want to examine his asset allocation (he wants to retire around the same time I do). He blew me off, saying he would ride it out, dollar cost averaging, etc. Today, his 401k has lost half its value, and he will likely have to work another 10 years longer than he planned. That's if the market stops falling now, which somebody has told me it won't :) Almost everyone I know in my line of work is in the same boat he is.

So you've basically saved me 10 years of working, Waxie. 10 years of being able to be home with my kids, trading and spending time with them, instead of going to the office. I hate to use a cliché like PRICELESS, but that's truly beyond price, Waxie.

How do I say thank you for that? I don't know, other than simply THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I don't know about rocking, I will let the reader be the judge. After spending much of the first half of this year going nowhere or backwards with the Options trader service, the last few months I have finally moved forward. Now my small trading portfolio has gone from just a tick over $5k six months ago to just a bit over $13k.

I've also been able to add nearly 50% to my self-directed 401k rollover. I did similar last year. Now to just keep the overall gains coming, no matter what their amount.

I realize as most do if they want to become better investors, we need to learn from your calls and your commentary.

Hi Waxie
I first picked up the infomercial material in 2002 and have dabbled with TF since that time- hobby and learning. I’ve known failures and successes. I am a pastor, may never be a good trader, but I thank you for your honest and upfront information. TF services may not be designed for the very small portfolio person- it’s hard to do proper money management on a small port- but nevertheless I have learned much.

The GOOD NEWS is that I’m up 620% since August 11th when I put a small amount back into my account. On August 11 I started with $2,000 and today my account is at $12,403. I have done that with primarily your calls in Option trader and the Shorting classes. I have done it very conservatively- since I can’t follow a 2% rule, I’ve often taken profits way too soon- but at least I’ve taken profits.

I’ve only been able to use small positions- usually one option at a time. So, when I took the GS 105 put at $24, at that time it was 1/3 of my port. I sold it when GS approached $75, so I missed the next move down, but at least I’m positive.

I will update this pending success story in another month and then in another two months. I am under no illusion that I can have the same success in the next two months, but if I did, I would be at a $75k portfolio from only a $2,000 beginning. That would be a great blessing for me, a pastor in of more funds for a mortgage and to give more to those in need.

i would first like to say your book power trading power living is a great book when i started reading it i couldn't stop.I have been with your option trader service for a few months and you have been killing them with your picks my loss i did not trade all of them .

i have only been trading options for six months part time and due to not placing stops i lost my shirt.well i guess thats what happens when you don.t educate yourself. I purchased trend trading to win and watched all the cds and i will watch them again great program for beginners.

SPWRA 65% OVERNIGHT i am glad i jumped on board for that one.I only purchased one contract for $860.00 AND SOLD IT FOR $1435.00 THATS $575.00.

This is insane, sometimes I feel kinda weird making all this "Zort" while I know others are getting their retirement crushed...but I press on. Here is the thing I am up so much that I think no one will believe it. Keep in mind I have a relatively small portfolio OK so here it is I am up 350% since september 1st. Mostly from option calls made live in the chat room and some of Tiny's calls that make sense to me as an option play.

One more thing I missed the first "short list", but the fact that you had the "bear market" class and the short list inspired me to take my IRA to cash if you add the money I saved am up truely STUPID money.........600%.

Funny when I told my guy at HR Block to take me to cash he respose was "I don't think it is time to start running for the doors just yet."

Put a limit order on the other 10 contracts at $6.00 and two of them actually filled! 900% Profit on those two, and still holding 8.

My account went live on 08/04/08. I started with $5000usd. As of 09/30/08, my closed trades in this account netted $26,354usd.

My first trade was WB short- got too nervous and netted $52.00. My first Oprion was AAPL at $10.25, it dropped to $5+ so I added 1, it dropped to $1.42 so I added 2 more. I exited at $13.25 and it was around twice that the nest week lol. No regrets.

I subscribe to Option of the Week. I take 1 or 2 positions per your recommendation. I read your blog and get your view. Then I go looking for some options I think will play out in the modest price range.

I entered 1 trade 09/12 and 2 09/15. I exited 09/17 for $13K!!! Been a little sower the past 2 weeks with the SEC and Fed stuff going on.

I have caught some things up (including my house). I am ever grateful. I am now getting ready to switch to the more active Options Program..... and I will be joining Short Trader when available :-)

I am writing you from miami, fl In 1999, at age 21 I helped open a nightclub B.E.D. in Miami Beach and traded the money earned with ZERO success until Trendfund rescued my portfolio. I was able to leave the job in 2006 because of Trendfund, but what a learning experience the industry was on the psychology of people.

Dear Mr. Parness,

I just wanted to say "Thank you!" I took your "Top 10 Short List" class yesterday. Based on it and Options Trader, (which I recently upgraded from OPOW) I had invested on average $2.20 per share on CVA: Oct $22.50 puts on CitiGroup (3 x $1.70 plus 2 x $2.95).

Well, sometime after the house vote and all, Citi began going down, down, down. I kept adjusting my stops on CVA manually (I'm with Sharebuilders, sorry! It's what I can afford right now) to preserve profits as you mention , and decided to sell 4 of the 5 contracts at $5.00 per share. Adjusting for commission that made me a net of approximately $1092.00. Kept the 5th one to "let it ride," and I'll be looking at next week for a proper entry any of the November opportunities mentioned in the class yesterday. Looking forward to having my profits earn more profits.

I know it's not profits in the numbers you are used to seeing for yourself and other members of TrendFund, but again I just wanted to say "thank you" for your guidance.

Dear Waxie

Dude, Took the class last night and bought GS puts at lunch today when the stock was up at around $139......was nervous at first with the bill vote occurring, but then "buy the rumor sell the news" hit the fan.

What can I say except; You really ARE A GOD!

I'm an option trader member (signed up for the year) and I am DEFINITELY interested in you next short list.

I invested in the shortiingwaxie list in July. At first glance the list was scary to comprehend that these behemoths could loose so much value.

We still have a ways to go with the original predictions but needless to say you've been dead on.

I went with all the big boys and bought AAPL, GOOG and RIMM Puts.

So far I've turned a conservative $11,600 into $24,200, selling 1/2 at doubles and taking profits. (Note this does not include RIMMs massive drop today! Wish I had kept more of these!)

On a side note the GS puts from yesterday option trader suggestions looks like a %50 gainer in less than 24 hours at the open; Simply Amazing!

You Are Absolutely THE MAN. Your God like insight of the market is absolutely astounding!!!

For all the non-members who may be thinking that Waxie is all talk with nothing behind it - my portfolio is up 130% over the last 30 days! 70% of that gain is directly attributable to calls provided by Waxie under my Options Trader membership, and the other 30% is attributable to my own calls within the same sectors as those calls provided by Waxie, so in effect, also thanks to his service.

More importantly - every one of these trades was made by employing good money management, as described in Waxie's book, "Power Trading, Power Living", and as reinforced by the mentoring class that I signed up for on the Trend Trading website. In other words, in every trade that I have made in the past 30 days, the most I could've lost was 2% of my capital. As it was, my success rate was close to 90% winners.

All of this is because I decided to take an active role in the success of my financial future, and tossed my lot in with a service that delivers results.

So what's the point of this tirade? To underscore what Waxie has been posting in this blog and on the website. You non-members that are sitting there bleeding away your IRA's and investment accounts need to get on board. Back in 2003 I was travelling for business reasons from Germany to Washington and Waxies book “rule the freaking markets” got my attention at barnes and nobles. This was the turning point in my trading career. As a permanent loser for years, Waxie turned the wheel around. I have still my losers –oh yes- but no big ones any more and I have my winners -indeed- very big ones! And every single Homerun, the fat winners, the 2, 4 or even ten baggers I made, was due to the recommendations of Waxies options calls. Waxie is nothing more or less than a miracle for me. Hi Waxie,
I'm an option trader member (signed up for the year) and I am DEFINITELY interested in you next short list.

I invested in the shortiingwaxie list in July. At first glance the list was scary to comprehend that these behemoths could loose so much value.

We still have a ways to go with the original predictions but needless to say you've been dead on.

I went with all the big boys and bought AAPL, GOOG and RIMM Puts.

So far I've turned a conservative $11,600 into $24,200, selling 1/2 at doubles and taking profits. (Note this does not include RIMMs massive drop today! Wish I had kept more of these!)

On a side note the GS puts from yesterday option trader suggestions looks like a %50 gainer in less than 24 hours at the open; Simply Amazing!

You Are Absolutely THE MAN. Your God like insight of the market is absolutely astounding!!!

I killed the market on the short list. I did your March class where we took GS 120 Oct puts (GSVD) as a speculative play, and have made over 1100%, taking profits as I go (and I'm a little more conservative than some). AAPL--didn't believe it, but followed your recommendations. Made well over 300% on the play. GS--Oh my, it's over 1100% profit right now for the play. GRMN--it was a winner within days, and have been enjoying it creep and die a slow death. RIMM--scared me for a while, bought the puts when the stock was 115-120 range, it spiked up to 130's+, dollar-cost averaged as you said since I didn't jump in with both feet on the initial buys, and making a killing now that the stock is in the 90's. BCSI--another great winner. C--HUGE winner, played several times across several months, anytime it went up by 10% in a 1-3 day time span, I'd short it some more with some out of money puts (not your recommendation all the time) but made a mint. INTC--LOVING it. ISIL--making over 80% profits RHT (from back in March)--making over 100% since I dollar-cost averaged. LEH---YEE-HAW, ride 'em cowboy, started shoring in the high 30's/low 40's, and have just loved this one, I couldn't even tell you how many 100%'s I've made on that one. EBAY--doing well, not as good as others, but doing well, only a measley ...and the list goes on.

COMBINING THE STOCK PLAY OF THE WEEK, OPTION PLAY OF THE WEEK, AND MOST IMPORANTLY YOUR SHORTS LIST (THAT'S THE MAJORITY OF WINNINGS), I'VE MADE OVER 58% ON MY PORTFOLIO IN LESS THAN A YEAR. IF MY NUMBERS ARE CORRECT, FOR THE YEAR 2008 ALONE, I'M UP OVER 45%, POSSIBLY MORE. This equates to multiple tens of thousands of dollars, well worth the $120 price of admission.

If you're looking for only one advisory service, Option Trader will make you more money quicker than anything else out there. Take the trial, it'll cover you're cost during the trial period.

If you don't trade options, now is the time to learn. I am up over $3500 from the COF Puts of last week, and over $1300 on the intraday GOOG Calls today (only played 4 calls .... wish I'd played bigger). This is Waxie's best service yet.

At 58 I`m afraid I`m where you were when you were younger. I`ve read your books and your story and of your life on the streets. Fascinating and well done. I`m glad you made it.

I have to work Weds, Thurs and Fri. Bummer. I hope you offer it again. Today I bought the orange belt membership. I am so psyched.

I just finished the 2 week trial. Made money on DRYS, lost on AKAM and PCLN. I thought about buying RIMM but didn't have much cash left. BUMMER again. But I made money on DRYS and I already had EXM which was cooking today. I sold both of them because I'm working the rest of the week and wanted to get used to taking profits.

My 5K port is now 8K. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Anyway, Thanks for the help. I really love learning about the markets and I love options. I realy like the personal touch of your service. It feels good to have a real person teaching and sharing. I took some of you classes in the free trial and I like what you said about trading. You seem real honest and don't hold back. Your blog is great too. I like your world view and that you said sometimes you send positve thoughts out to those struggling.

Michael Parness is the Tiger Woods of day trading. Having followed his trades religiously for the last month, I'm absolutely astounded how often he's been right. Most importantly, on those few occasions when he's been wrong, he's covered the trade quickly, resulting in a small loss.

The latest example is his AAPL May $185 puts trade which he initiated a few hours ago. AAPL has been shooting up like a rocket for more than 2 months so it was an extremely gutsy call to buy puts but the moment he made the call, AAPL dropped like a stone in water.

The guy is absolutely amazing!

Got Michael's book Power Trading. It is truly great. The absolute best bargain on the internet for traders. I know..I have read a lot of complex crap. The CD is excellent..reinforcing the whole thing. Actually I find this as good as being on the site in the chatroom. A hell of a lot quieter.

The chapter on his favorite trades is the best. I have already used it with EBAY to play gaps and the FOMC. EBAY is so much better than trading QQQQ because it is more volatile..gives you more movement. Gap fading also works great on futures which I trade mostly. At 8:30 am..that's the time for those.

Anyway..I see you are doing well and so..that's it. I've told quite a few people about this book. I hope they grab it too. I get after them about it..pushing it. Thanks.

Okay Waxie, I gotta share the love here. You've been absolutely KILLING it with your options calls? I literally signed up 2 weeks ago (April 17th I believe) and have made a nice chunk of change with the following calls already!

• GOOG Apr 550 calls (not an official call, but you mentioned they might be a good buy) bought at .60 sold half at 1.30 and the rest at 1.80!
• V May 65 calls (bought the 65s accidentally instead of the 60s you called!) bought at 8.00 sold at 10.50!
• FXI May 145 calls bought at 8.10 sold at 12.70!
• SOV Jun 7.5 puts bought at .45 sold half at .85, still holding the second half!
• YHOO May 25 call bought at 3.30, sold half at 4.10, still holding the second half!
• WY May 60 call bought at 4.50, sold half at 5.70, still holding the second half!

I'm a believer Waxman! Keep up the good work.

Fun post seminar story --- I applied what Tiny taught us about using Fibonacci grids the day I got back from seminar when the official earnings season kicked off with Alcoa report. They missed and I used the Fib grid to time my short entry to within 10 cents of both the top and the full retracement down to 100% of the grid. It doesn't get much more "by the book" than that.

Loved the seminar. Definitely would attend another but maybe not across country. If you do them periodically by region or maybe simply on opposite coasts, I'm definitely in.

I have been a member since early April '07. In that time I have made 46 trades with the option play of the week. 30 have been winners, 3 are still outstanding and the rest didn't play out so well.

I sometimes follow your recommendations to the letter and sometimes "adlib" a bit on my own selecting different strikes or maturities. To date I have realized almost $5900 in gains and I still have $7750 unrealized gains in Dec ACM 25 Calls.

Hi Tiny,
I just want to say thank you for all your help and hard work every day with Morning Briefing and your constant help and guidance in the Chat Room. Since joining MB on April 16th, I have made over 11k the last 3 weeks. Before that I had up and down weeks, mostly profitable but not enough to feel comfortable with making a living. I sold my business last October so I could do what I truly love and that is be a trader.

I now feel that with the new ideas every morning, I have a greater chance of being successful than before.

I know that you work you ass off and probably don't feel appreciated, but I am here to tell you I am extremely grateful for all your HARD work. I have been in the chat room since last April and this is the first time (April and May) that I feel that the room is working like it should...A TEAM. That comes from your guidance and helping us with the correct entries.

Maybe the next time y'all do a seminar like Vegas, I can come out and meet you and the rest of the team and have a few beers and talk about how GREAT the COWBOYS are and will always be!!!

Hi Tiny,
Just wanted to write and say thanks, I had a good first month. Made about $2200 this month from swing trader and play of the week, from 25K (in account). Though, I usually only have about 15K actively trading at any one time. Could have earned about $1000 additional, if I had kept moving my stop loss up as RNIN went up....Good lesson for next time.

Made another $2900 trading stock my company gives employees, probably half of this is attributable to lessons learned from TrendTrading.... kept and traded just before earning vs. selling as soon as I received, as I previously had been doing.

Want to keep more of the money in the account active, so I joined the "Playing the Gap" service this past week.... we will see how it goes this month.
