My eyes where opened to candlesticks and my mind was changed about the way I want to live my life through trading. Mikes stories and life experiences are still in my ear as well as Scotts tech talk and thinking and reasoning of triggers to buy and short equities and options. Overall it was an eye-opening and an awakening of how good life can be when you are an educated trader. Normal people have to kill them selves to make 2k to 4k a day and I have been making that and then some and after listening to Mike I will never take it for granted and I will try to teach people about be self sufficient threw trading. I played JE List carefully and conservatively, names I did NOT play from your list are: MGM (but I did scalp it for a $1 gain from $14 to $15 using only 1% risk) FAS (never touched) ENG (never touched) and I missed one other play from JE List. From Windows dressing class, I only played a handful, but I was in on MCP options. For the most part I played a 1% to 2% risk on every JE play (except those listed above) and only about half of the windows dressing plays (some losers, some big winners, a full list available upon request). Got out of IBM today fully from OPOW calls. I'm out of all windows dressing plays as of today (except for 1 call of AAPL, a mistake it's still in there), and I'm still in the following JE plays: BP; COIN; CSCO; DE; DNDN; DO; EK; F; GNW; HGSI; NOK; SD; WFR. <--Most of these I already sold 1/3 to 1/2 of my original purchase for profit and the other 2/3 to 1/2 with a trailing stop. I signed up with Trendfund a few weeks ago with a little reluctance of paying almost $200/month for the option traders package. When i listened to the infomercial, parts of it started to ring true. I watched the infomercial several more time and felt the Mr. Parness was an honest person. Since that time I have worn out the tapes and dog eared the book after reading it over 60 times. Each time i read the book, I pick up more. I have bought Waxie's book and await it's delivery. I was about to go live with my trades, when i got laid off, so my trade money is being used to pay rent for now. I still paper trade until I find more work. The knowledge I have gained has resulted in paper trades starting with five thousand dollars (four months ago) and has grown to 35,000. I recently took the earnings runner class, and I must say that the information was vital, accurate and when used properly explosive. On CAMP I have to date made 4,000 plus dollars profit to add to my account on this trade alone. I bought in at 4.40 (a limit order) after the small downturn, and it is now at 5.28. I trail my stops accordingly. Of course this is on paper, but this validates the techniques and teaching I have received from the staff at trendfund.com. While I must wait until I find work to begin making real money, I continue to paper trade and hone those skills which I have learned through Trendfund. Prior to that I had been studying futures and equities for about 5 years. Three years ago I saw your infomercial and immediately bought the tapes and books. I started paper trading online and in my first day I earned 12K! I signed up for your free e-mail alerts for options and stocks and paper traded these for about 2 years. I might add that with your e-mail alerts I was able to take $25K and change it into $3.5M in 2 years. I was only trading part-time in the morning before work! I also bought your book "Rule the Freakin' Markets" in January of 2003. I have read it twice. In May this year I started with a relatively small portfolio of approximately $17,000.00 and was initially playing TF's SPOW. I did not feel that I had enough equity to gap trade or day trade. Soon thereafter, I opened an options trading account and began trading your calls. In approximately the last 6 weeks I have more than doubled my portfolio. At this moment my account is valued at more than $40K. I would like to state that prior to joining TF, my broker had diminished my porfolio by approximately 50% in the 3 years prior to joining the Trendfund family. Sound familiar? Callen Hageman - 4/28/2003 I decided to sleep in today after 4 days of the seminar. I spent several hours playing with my 9 month old daughter, and didn't even look to see what the market was doing until later in the day. Of course, the market was WAY up so I pulled up one of the stocks I'd been watching with the intention of buying it if it looked good. Sure enough, the price was up. But, being smart, I decided to pull the chart up and what did I see? Nice opening, first consolidation, next flag, higher... then a double top (which was happening just as I was looking at it. Hmmm...remembering that a double top was a sign to watch...I DIDN'T buy it, but decided to wait. Sure enough, the stock proceeded to go down. Sometimes it is what you don't buy that is as important as what you DO buy. Kevin Enderle - 4/28/2003 I am new and learning more how you all make money by me learning the hard way. For ex: I had 1000 shares of BSVN bought it at $4 it was up to $4.71. With my own thinking even you all said to sell it because of earnings report coming out after the bell Wednesday, I thought I would hold it because it was going up good. Even I heard the earnings were up. To my surprise I woke up the next morning and BAM it was down. Lucky I did adhere to some of your teachings and had a stop at $4.40 but still it filled at $4.17. I made $170 but lost $540. It was a good painful lesson. Today, Thursday earnings were coming out for AMCC, I had 1000 shares of AMCC bought at $3.94 sold it before closing today at $4.20. I see it is down to $3.85 after hours trading. So your ways are awesome. Having faired so poorly during the burst I lost my confidence in my abilities. I saw your infomercial and then shortly thereafter I saw Mike Parness on CNBC, both caught my attention. I had been saying the same things about the market as Michael for over a year, but, there was not one person I knew that agreed with me.I thought to myself that maybe he has something here and I went to the website to check it out. Here was an extremely down to earth, straight talking, no bull type of guy with opinions that matched mine. How could I not give him a try. I signed on for the 2 week trial. Nothing happened for me, so I left the group. I kept getting those annoying adds telling how much money I could have made. They finally got to me, and so began to paper followed their ideas and discovered that for the period I followed their calls were 90% correct. I wasn't hooked for sure until I signed up for a real membership. I have discovered that when I follow trendfunds suggestions, I make money. In the month that I have been a member, I have made more money, using less money, than I have in years, and on a more consistant basis. I knew nothing whatsoever about trading. Had no idea how to short, what trends were etc. Much of your good advice went right over my head. I didn't take your advice to paper trade at first and just jumped right in. It's no surprise to me now that I lost money. I had no plan for my trades and hung on to them for days and weeks at a time vainly hoping for them to come back. I decided that perhaps trading was not for me and dropped out for a while. I've been back for about a month and things are going quite well. I have a better understanding of the whole process now. It's kind of like learning a new language. When it's all new, it's hard to understand. But after a while the pieces start coming together. Now that the new daytrading rules are in effect, I don't have much of a cushion in my trading account. I wish I`d have ordered your book and joined then, before my account went from 8k to 11k and back down to 7k. GREED left me SICK and licking my wounds!!! At this point I ordered your book (excellent read) and worked with my "inner knucklehead". I paper traded until I wasn`t SICK anymore and then joined Trendfund.com. That was last Thursday. In one week I am up 15%!!!! I made 12% short qcom, 54% on dell puts (took profits today) and am sitting on expe puts that are up 34%. More important than that is that I had 1 break even trade and 2 losers that were only a few cents loss. Thats winning 50% and being up 15% while using only 25% of my capital. I practiced in the simulator. I signed for the Free Trial on June 10th. I started trading on June 12th - I followed every rule to the letter, I only traded what Trendfund said to trade, but did not trade every recommendation. Didnt get the full move on these but was stopped out with some nice returns( stopping out with a profit, I love it!)....about 70% and that rocks solid! I trade part-time as I have a full time job. TrendFund has really enhanced my trading style, most importantly your emphansis on the importance of order execution(I've changed Brokers) and using well though out stop losses. These 2 enhancements have restored my confidence 10 fold. Now I can get on with the business of winning trades. Its FUN again! He He! I am really looking forward to making the change to TradePortal. "Broker" is a great term for these people because that's what they did to me....made me a lot broker, cutting my portfolio value in half!!! Dave Reigle - 3/1/2001 WAXIE, I was one of your "European Members" and just moved back to the U.S. I moved to Utah and purchased a house. A large part of my downpayment was because of the TREND FUND. I had a realtor who I had to train to know that a house is only worth what the market will bear, not what anybody thinks its worth. Just like stocks. The first house I bid on, they did not counter, but told my realtor they were "hurt and offended" by my offer. Hello - its a freakin' house, not a person. By now I had trained my realtor, used the end of the tax year to leverage a sale for about $25k less than asking - in a market where $2.5K less than asking is considered excellent.
